Birthday Splash

When we were planning Geoffrey's Birthday, he said that he wanted to go swimming. No matter how hard I tried to get him to want to do something else, his mind was set and there was no changing it. We went to the Holliday-Lions Club pool and had a great time. All of the friends and family that were able to come had a great time swimming and having a blast.

Zoo Days

We have been able to go to Hogle Zoo a few times so far this year. The first outing was on Memorial Day with Aunt Whitney and her friend Lee. Even with the overcast skies and on again off again rain we has a great time. It's been some time since we have made it to the zoo, the kids liked all of the animals and Evan was especially enthralled with the bunnies.

We went a few weeks later with our friends Tanya, Davey, Lily, and Sam. The best part of the day was when we went to Discovery Land and the kids were able to run and play.

First Hair Cut

We all went in to Tasha and got our hair cuts done. Tasha is great and Evan was given his first experience getting his hair cut. It was sad to see his baby mullet leave, but now he looks like a little boy. Luckily he isn't like Austin and Geoffrey. When they were younger, they would scream about getting their hair cut. With Austin, I would have to do it when he was asleep so he wouldn't know. Tasha was excited that this time Geoffrey didn't have such a freak out. As long as Evan had something to keep his hands busy, then he was good to go.
