Pirate Preperations

This year Geoffrey wanted a Pirate themed Birthday party. With the help of my friend Liz, we came up with a pretty great themed cake. She was really great, I only had to make the cake and she did the rest. She did a pretty amazing job.

Todd and Cory took care of preparing the boats for their maiden launch.

They had some pretty great helpers. Evan didn't want to stop and even snuck out
Camree got to watch all of the craziness from the comforts of her chair.

November 2012

This month always starts off with birthdays.

It is kind of nice having both Todd's and mine so close together.

Elizabeth specifically picked up these shoes for my birthday...

but I think that they will work out great in the dress up cloths.

First good snow of the season

October 2012

 The month started off with the death of Uncle Charles.

We were able to go up to Idaho to attend his funeral.

All of those participated on the program did an amazing job.

What an example Uncle Charles was to those around him.

 Tabea sure does like playing in the leaves.

While Geoffrey was at cub scouts

we took the time to clean up some leaves

Halloween Fun

The PTA at school hosted a Halloween Party

for the students.  It was a great success and everyone

had a ton of fun.

We then had fun going to Boo at the Zoo

 Evan was a ghoul

 Austin was a Hobbit

 Geoffrey was a Knight

 Elizabeth was an Austrian Girl

 and Tabea was a Dalmatian

We also had fun carving pumpkins.

 Tabea had her first experience with pumpkin guts

 Our friend Sydnee came and joined the crazyness

At school Elizabeth's class did a musical presentation.

September 2012

This month started off with a birthday and party

Elizabeth celebrated her birthday.

She was excited to get painting supplies.

 Todd and Elizabeth enjoyed an evening of painting together

 Elizabeth also got to help decorate her cake.

 Elizabeth and her friends enjoyed an afternoon

at the swimming pool to celebrate her birthday.

 Tabea is getting so big!

 The children were able to have some fun after running laps.

We have been having some issues with hitting,

so we end up at the school

where the kids get to run laps

We ended the month with an impromptu getaway to St. George

We enjoyed hiking through Zion National Park

 Tabea knew just how to ride in style.

The next day we went to Bryce Canyon and enjoyed the views there.
