Summer Vacation Travel Log Day 6 (The Happiest Place on Earth)

What an adventure this day ways.  It was great to spend it with my sister Pamela, her husband Jay, and four of their children; along with my brother Norman, his wife Melinda, and their four children.  That made for a total of 18 people; six in each family.  Try telling the ride operators how many were in the party without them giving you a sideways glance.

First Stop:  Disney California Adventure Park
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
All eighteen of us in one picture

We decided to get the scary ride out of the way so that we could enjoy the rest.
After the ride was finished, Evan was scared of the dark and rides.
He kept saying that he didn't like elevators with chairs in them.
Now that we are home...it's as if this was his favorite ride.

Soarin' over California

Kids meeting Chip and Dale

A Bugs Land
Luckily by the time we got to the rides here Evan had calmed down a bit.
We were able to do all of the rides in this area.  Just don't have pictures from Francis' Ladybug Boogie

Flick's Flyers

Heimlick's Chew Chew Train

Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies

Paradise Pier
California Screamin'
 Waiting in another line

Expensive toys found at the Pier

Disneyland Park

Waiting in the line for Pirates of the Caribbean

Waiting for the Indiana Jones Ride

Jungle Cruise
Uncle Jay became the favorite uncle as he took all of the younger kids on
the Jungle Cruise while the rest of us went on Indiana Jones.
Elizabeth, Evan, and their cousin Skyler were super excited to get a third time
on the cruise when the rest of us joined.

Fantasyland
Dumbo the Flying Elephant

King Arthur's Carousel

The Main Street Parade

 Excited to see the parade
Disney Princesses

After our fun in Disneyland we headed back to California Adventure Park and Paradise Pier
We had some time to spare before the Magic of Color show,
so we headed over to...
Toy Story Mania ...it ended up being the favorite ride for everyone

Waiting for the World of Color show

Even the moon is magical

What a magical day...not only did we get to have tons
of fun riding all of the rides, but we got to make memories
with our extended family.
